Serene narratives of everyday people with their plants, their books and their thoughts

“With a certain air of Frida Kahlo but without the suffering, people who form part of the landscape and a sense of nature that assaults the city and aspires to reign there. These are the paintings of Inma Naranjo. Inma shows us solitude, intimate retrospection, men and above all women, relaxing, thinking, trying to make decisions. Her fondness for poetry is a passion easily transmitted to her paintings and their interpretation is as much a feeling as visual. ‘There is another story between the lines; subtle and abstract which is what suggests the sentiment’, she explains.”
